Hippo

Another self produced zine through the Milieu name from a number of work trips to London. Selects were shown at Eric Rose Gallery in Berkley for their inaugural gallery show after taking over the space. Big thanks to the folks there who hosted us and put these on the wall, meant a lot to me!

Herds of tourists in plazas where hippos grazed. I wish we could start over knowing what we do now. Doubts and regrets wiped away. London knows we don’t need to. Just keep growing, trying, and moving forward.

Pandemic after pandemic, built over hippo bones. I'm sure hippos turn into pretty solid bedrock eventually. To be a tourist in London, even for a brief time; how lucky to pass through the herd and allow ourselves forward.
