Corvus

A zine of black and white film photography shot at San Francisco's ocean beach. Originally a documentary practice that was curated into a visual narrative. I was struggling through a lot of the classic late 20s questions at the time. These walks and practice really helped me keep a spark and engage in the world around me.

A practice’s output, as photos or zines, might not matter to anyone else. It probably won’t, I mean people have told me it doesn’t. It’ll start to feel like it shouldn’t matter to me though. Don’t let that happen. The external validation has never mattered, we’ve all just been lured into thinking it does. The only validation I need comes from myself.

The more I say it the more true it will become. That’s the direction I’m hoping to head in. What’s this got to do with the zine? Not too much, just a note.
